The provisions of this data protection declaration take precedence in the event of any contradiction, of whatever nature, between these and the other conditions contractual; the general conditions of sale of OdeVie sàrl are applicable for the remainder.

5. Who is the holder of the collected data file?

We are required by law to provide you with the name of the holder of the file containing your personal data. This is OdeVie sàrl, Clos de la Fonderie 17, 1227 Carouge, Switzerland.

6. When do we collect personal data?

We collect your personal data when we have contact with you, namely in multiple situations. This is the case, for example, in the following circumstances:

  • customer service information (including returns, complaints, warranty cases, delivery information);

9. To whom do we transmit your personal data?

We only pass on your data to delivery service providers.

Your data is NEVER transmitted to external service providers without direct links to the performance of our activity.

These service providers are contractually obliged to process personal data exclusively within the limits of the mandate entrusted to them and according to our instructions. We require our service providers to comply with technical and organizational measures to ensure the protection of personal data. No personal data is stored in the cookies we use. These cannot be attributed to any particular person. When a cookie is activated, an identification number is assigned to it.

10.4 How can you prevent the storage of cookies?

11. How do we use log data?

During any visit to our Internet pages, certain usage data of your Internet browser is transmitted to us for technical reasons and is stored in log files, so-called log files. We do not use third-party company log files to spy on your shopping or other browsing habits. The only log files used are related to the Odevie website. 

12. How do we use our web analytics tools?

In order to constantly improve and optimize our Internet offer, we use so-called tracking technologies. These are web analysis tools allowing the establishment of statistics and graphics providing information on the use made of our Internet pages. The usage data collected for this purpose is transferred to a specific server which may be located abroad depending on the provider of the web analysis tool. For the most commonly used, namely Google Analytics, the recorded data is transferred with the abbreviated IP address, which prevents any possibility of identifying individual devices. Google applies the data protection rules defined by the “Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework” and is registered with the “Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield” of the United States Department of Commerce (Information can be found here: https://www.privacyshield.gov/Swiss-US-Privacy-Shield-FAQs). The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not pooled with other data. A forwarding of the data by Google to third parties may only take place in accordance with legal regulations or within the framework of the data processing mandate.

13. How do we use social plugins?
